Travel and Camp Responsibly

We aim to minimise our impact on the environment by:

• Staying on designated tracks and approved routes whenever possible

• Camping only in permitted or low-impact areas

• Avoiding damage to vegetation, soil, and natural features

• Respecting local access rules and land management guidelines​

Dispose of Waste Properly

We follow a strict “pack it in, pack it out” approach:

• All waste generated during travel is carried out and disposed of responsibly

• No litter is ever left behind in natural environments

• Waste is separated and recycled where facilities are available

• Human waste is managed using appropriate facilities or methods where required

Respect Wildlife

We are privileged to encounter wildlife in its natural habitat. To protect it, we:

• Observe animals from a safe and respectful distance

• Do not feed, disturb, or attempt to interact with wildlife

• Avoid disrupting natural behaviours or habitats

• Follow local guidelines for wildlife protection at all times

• Leave rocks, plants, fossils, and natural objects where they are found

• Avoid altering or damaging natural or historical sites

• Respect Indigenous cultural heritage and sacred sites

Minimise Campfire Impact

Where campfires are permitted:

• We use designated fire pits only

• Keep fires small and fully contained

• Ensure fires are completely extinguished before leaving

• Prefer portable cooking systems where possible to reduce fire impact
